Gender Bias

Programme: Erasmus+, KA1
Location: Morfasso, Italy

Duration: 3-10 June 2026
Partners: Italy, Poland, Spain, Greece, Portugal

Project Description:

From June 3–10, we took part in the “Gender Bias” project! For a week, we expanded our knowledge and learned about gender stereotypes, inclusion, and human rights.

Thanks to methods such as the World Café, forum theater, debates, and creating our own videos and games, we were able to look at these issues from completely new perspectives.

However, the project wasn’t just about theory. We focused on practical solutions, learning, among other things, the 5Ds method, which teaches how to respond safely and wisely to discrimination in everyday life.

Of course, the trip was also a great opportunity to bond, improve our foreign language skills, and work in an international team. There was also plenty of time to explore the local culture, including a group tour of the beautiful town of Castell’Arquato.

We’re returning enriched with valuable knowledge, new friendships, and tremendous motivation to take action in our communities. Thank you to all the participants and facilitators for creating such a wonderful and open space!
