Programme: Erasmus+, KA1
Location: Osijek, Croatia
Duration: 1–8 September 2025
Partners: Croatia, Poland, Ireland, and Greece
Project Description:
From 1 to 8 September 2025, we took part in the Facilitate Forward training course held in the picturesque city of Osijek, Croatia 🇭🇷. During this intensive week, together with participants from across Europe, we explored how to design, deliver, and facilitate youth workshops in an intercultural environment.
We started each day with energizers and integration activities that helped us build a strong and connected team. We then practiced facilitation techniques — from planning and implementing educational activities to analysing the learning process. As part of the Facilitation in Practice module, we created and delivered our own workshops, learning how to engage participants, create a safe space for dialogue, and understand why reflection is an essential element of non-formal education.
There were also evaluation sessions, discussions about youth work, and a memorable intercultural evening during which we shared traditions, flavours, and stories from our countries. It was a week full of inspiration, collaboration, and new competences — an experience that will stay with us for a long time.
