Project Description:
Courageous Conversations was a project held in the picturesque town of Dobrinishte, Bulgaria. It focused on building dialogue, fostering mutual understanding, and collectively breaking down stereotypes and prejudices.

The first days were dedicated to integration and creating a safe space for openness — getting to know each other, our stories, and our perspectives. There was also time to explore Sofia, stroll through the capital, and discover local culture and cuisine.

The next part of the project involved intensive workshop sessions. Participants explored topics such as identity, stereotypes, privilege, social exclusion, nonviolent communication (NVC), and the Forum Theatre method. We learned not only from the trainers but, above all, from one another — through conversations, shared activities, experiences, and reflection.

On the final day, we wrapped up the entire journey by sharing conclusions, emotions, and celebrating the time spent together. There was no shortage of heartfelt moments, gratitude, new friendships, and of course, enjoying music and fun together.
